The 麻豆原创 Essex County District School Board is announcing the procedures for students currently enrolled in a secondary school who wish to attend another public secondary school outside their designated secondary school for the 2025-2026 school year.

The application period for out-of-district transfers will be from Monday, January 6th to Friday, January 17th, 2025

**Out-of-District Procedures: **

1. Students, parents, or guardians must complete the online registration form.
2. Families should contact the secondary school they wish to transfer to and arrange an appointment with the administration.
3. Students need to obtain a transfer package from their current secondary school. A parent or guardian's signature is required for all students under eighteen (18).

**Important Terms to Review: **

• While the board generally allows transfers, some restrictions may apply based on the enrollment capacity of individual schools.
• This procedure does not apply to students entering the My Achievement Pathway for Success (MAPS) or the Skills to Enhance Personal Success (STEPS) programs.
• Transportation will not be provided for students opting to transfer out of their home secondary school district.
• Vincent Massey Secondary School does not accept out-of-district transfers. Proof of residency is required for all applications. Proof of Residency
• Acceptance at the requested school indicates a commitment to attend for the 2025-2026 school year.
